This site is the location of the AMS (American Mathematical Society) archive which provides TeX-related software entitled AMS-TeX and AMS-LaTeX. Two 'author packages' can be downloaded from this location each of which include TeX formatting language to typeset manuscripts to shorten time and reduce the price of publications. The packages also contain documentation, instructions, and examples. Current guidelines for publishing papers using the 1991 Mathematical Subjects Classification is available. In addition, a booklet is also available designed to assist students in mathematical sciences who are or will be seeking professional employment. Finally, a report on Recognition and Rewards in the Mathematical Society is available.
